Are you interested in returning for another chance to walk the ancient hills and modern streets and learn more about the heritage that makes Israel our homeland? Then Israel 2.0 is for you.

Israel 2.0 is a registered non-profit organization that sponsors educational tours to Israel for Jewish college students and young professionals in North America. Israel 2.0 works in coordination with several Jewish organizations across college campuses and cities throughout the US and Canada and targets adults of all Jewish backgrounds, ages 18-28. Israel 2.0 features consistent, effective and dedicated follow-up programing for participants upon their return to keep alumni growing and engaged, including: follow-up trips, special conferences and pro-Israel events.

Israel 2.0’s mission is to provide young Jewish adults with the opportunity to reconnect with Israel and their Jewish heritage in a deep and meaningful way.

To empower participants to be knowledgeable, articulate ambassadors for the state of Israel across college campuses, in work environments and elsewhere.

To inspire participants to take responsibility and action regarding social issues facing their local and global communities.

I have traveled to Israel several times to visit family. I thought I was pretty informed and knowledgeable about Israel and Judaism. However, until embarking on this trip, I didn’t realize exactly how little I knew. I not only learned about Judaism and Israel; but I also learned about myself and my identity as a Jewish woman. Whether a first time in Israel or fifth time, everyone left this trip learning and experiencing something new.

What they run

This year, our signature program takes on new focus and meaning with a special emphasis on volunteer activities. In the aftermath of October 7th, Israel 2.0 is committed to aiding the war effort and supporting our brothers and sisters in Israel. Together, we will make a difference.

In addition to our daily volunteer activities, participants will delve into the profound wisdom of the Torah and the rich history of the Jewish people in a fun and engaging way. You'll learn the meaning behind Jewish traditions and experience a taste of Jewish spirituality.

Last but not least, our program is based in Jerusalem! Feel the pulse of Israel's capital, meet a variety of influential leaders, and gain insights into the Palestinian-Israeli conflict from those with first-hand knowledge.

Get ready for an unforgettable journey this summer from August 2–9 ! This unique program offers the ultimate balance of culture, nature, and community, allowing you to immerse yourself in the vibrant charm of a true "Pueblo Mágico" while staying connected to your roots. Throughout the week, you will dive into thrilling outdoor adventures like hiking scenic trails and exploring spectacular ancient canyons, alongside journeys through the area's most deeply historic locations.

The experience seamlessly weaves in a meaningful Jewish twist, featuring engaging educational programming and plenty of free time to explore the city at your own pace. You will also share an uplifting, community-centered Shabbat program complete with delicious kosher meals hosted at the local Chabad Center.
